Build Your Own Aftercooler Parts List

List of parts needed to “make” an aftercooler for the JRSC manifold for the 2002-2006 RSX platform.

Water to Air Intercooler Radiator - 24x12x1 (Type 100)
[WAT001002]
- PRICE: $149.99

Water to Air Intercooler Pump and Harness, Bosch Cobra
[WAT001001]
- PRICE: $119.99

Water to Air Intercooler Installation Kit (350/600HP)
[WAT001012]
- PRICE: $54.99
You might save a few bucks buying this seperately because you should not need the (2) Brass 1/2" NPT Male to 3/4" Barbed Straights that come with the kit only the 90 degree ones.

Temperature Sensor:
Wells open type IAT sensor part # WT382. Your parts store carries them and can lookup the pigtail you will need for it as well.

Try here if you have trouble sourcing it as well.

Also try T1 they have an IAT sensor which is 1/8 inch diameter and can easily be tapped into the runner of the mani and reads way faster than any other sensor.

Jackson Racing Supercharger bottom access plate:
Instead of fabricating you own plate you can purchase an extra access plate from Jackson Racing.
Part # 052-157 - $84.00

Expansion tank:
This is nice to have because you dont want to have to pull the bumper everytime you need to add water to the system so I highly recommend it.
Spike Expansion Tank from Speedway motors. - $60.99

Height of tank is 6.75" and the diameter is 2.5". The bracket adds 3/4" to the width. Fittings needed include: 3/8" on bottom, 1/8" on side. The mounting bracket has holes for two screws as well as permanently attached nuts. Uses standard radiator cap, which is not included.

To mount the expansion tank or a Catch can too...you can use this to mount to the strut bar.

Tite Lok 5606 Rail Mount - $17.51 but Bass Pro had them for $14

And looks like this mounted: Image of Expansion tank mounted.
